Science says that 92% of people do not achieve their goals. Use of a goal setting process is integral in assisting in achieving all goals but especially goals related to career change and job search. There are a number of models, such as SMART, that have been developed to help in goal setting however these models do not incorporate emerging evidence from neuroscience about ‘brain friendly” modes tied to goal completion. Developed by Social Neuroscientists Elliot T. Berkman and David Rock the AIM framework integrates goal pursuit actions with neuroscience principles related to motivation, emotion, memory and habit, which are essential components in goal completion and success. Together, via chat, video and audio when possible, you will engage in the AIM motivational goal pursuit process to set a goal, implement your intentions, and get on a path to change habits and achieve success.
