
Career Coach and Consultant
Katie Niznik (she/her/hers) started her career as a recruiter for varying sized companies, mostly working within campus recruiting. Realizing her passion for developing early talent, she returned to school, earning her master’s degree in Higher Education Administration, with an emphasis in Career Development and Mental Health. She has worked in Employer Engagement at the Carlson School of Management, cultivating relationships with hiring teams across the country in many different industries. Besides private career coaching, she also works at the College of Education and Human Development at the University of Minnesota, meeting with undergraduate students, graduate students, and alumni of the university.
Her coaching philosophy is all about finding what makes you a unique candidate and showcasing your individual strengths, interests, and passions. She appreciates utilizing up-to-date hiring trends and new technologies and tools to give you a leg up in your career journey. Katie is a mental health advocate, especially interested in the intersection between career and mental health.

Outside of coaching, Katie loves chicken wings, her partner Rob, the Minnesota Vikings, and her Corgi, Beau.
